Vanaf deze week zal ik geregeld wat aandacht schenken aan boeken en andere literatuur over BioArt, door een boek of artikel te tippen of te bespreken.
Deze week een tip. Kort geleden verscheen het boek Art in the age of technoscience. Genetic engineering, robotics and artificial life in contemporary art, onder redactie van Ingeborg Reichle. Rob Zwijnenberg, directeur van TAGC, heeft het voorwoord van deze publikatie geschreven. Het boek is deels een vertaling van het oudere Kunst aus dem Labor, maar volledig herzien, met ook deels nieuwe artikelen. Ik heb het boek zelf nog niet gelezen, maar ga dat zeker doen, want de inhoudsopgave ziet er interessant uit. Rob Zwijnenberg meldt in ieder geval dat het een echt goed boek is, dat TAGC (The Arts & Genomics Centre) volgend jaar gaat gebruiken in de BioArt Honours Class 2010.
